About Quan Deaux
Music.
People.
And A Higher
Standard.
Based in New York City, Quan Deaux is a music producer, recording engineer, mixing and mastering engineer, and content creator focused on helping artists bring their ideas to life and make records that sound finished.
The Story
Built In
New York City.
Music has always been about more than the final file. It’s about connecting with people, understanding the artist’s vision and finding the sound that makes a record feel complete. Based in New York City, I work with artists from different backgrounds, genres and stages of their careers.
What I Do
More Than
Just Beats.
I work across multiple stages of the creative process. Whether you need original production, a recording session, a full mix and master or content surrounding the music, the goal stays the same: make the idea hit the way it should.
Music Production
Original production across Hip-Hop, R&B, Drill, Alternative and more.
Recording Engineering
Professional recording sessions focused on performance, workflow and capturing the right take.
Mixing & Mastering
Clean, balanced mixes and masters designed to help the record translate everywhere.
Content Creation
Creative visual content built around music, artists, culture and the creative process.
The Sound
No Single
Box.
I don’t approach every artist with the same formula. Different records require different sounds, different energy and different decisions. Working across genres keeps the creative process fresh and puts the song first.
Beyond The Session
I Love
The Mix.
Part of what I enjoy most about music is hearing how different songs, eras and artists can work together. My mixes let me experiment outside of traditional production sessions, reinterpret records and create new listening experiences from music people already connect with.
Credits & Collaborations
Real Artists.
Real Records.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with and contribute to music involving established artists while continuing to work with independent artists who are building what’s next.

The Approach
The Song Comes
First.
The job isn’t to force every artist into my sound. It’s to understand what the record needs and help the artist get there. Sometimes that’s the beat. Sometimes it’s getting the right vocal performance. Sometimes it’s the mix. Sometimes it’s simply knowing what not to add. Every decision should serve the song.
